Pittsburg, Kansas | I have a lot of respect for them, in general. Modern medicine/hospital/doctors have for sure saved my life at least on two different occasions. There is stuff they know and practice well.
But I have also found limitations in their knowledge of certain health subjects. Most of them tend to be pill/prescription medicine centered and most often not considering things outside the scope of their professional training.
Fortunately I have found numerous doctors on line who are able, often because of personal health issues they resolved on their own, to think beyond their medical training and delve into latest research and clinical observations including in their own clinic.
It has been said half of what doctors learn in medical school will be proven wrong with time. They just don't know which half.
