Central Iowa | Absolutely correct. There is a loss on the other side for sure. We will likely never know the circumstances that led up to who ever the donor was. We will be afforded the opportunity to send a letter at some point to the family through the hospital. They can decide if they want to engage or not. My wife as a long way to go to be "out of the woods" so to speak. Rejection can show up for a long time. But her odds are so much better than they were. Based on her liver she likely would not have survived another year. | |
