NW Ohio | In this area I don’t see land values softening enough to create anything like the 80s. Fixed rates and crop insurance help vs. 80s climate. Farm land value here seemed to double pretty much overnight in 2020. A couple auctions coming up that will be interesting to follow to see how much the market may have fallen.
On the grain farming side it looks to be an environment where the low cost operations will stand out. $6 and $15 covers a lot of fluff. | |
