Subject: Snodgrass.. 2 of 8 ENSO models signal that a 2012, 1988 drought is possible for 2024

Weather forecasting can be fickle.. the dog woke me up this morning as we had thunder.. yet the forecasted rains.. so far.. have passed over us for now.

So I had time to listen to Snodgrass update from yesterday.. He cautiously laid out the case that some of the models.. are flipping to a super La Niña.. he showed the CFS2 NOAA’s and the Canadian models out of the 8 he showed.. we’re potentially calling for a 2012.. 1988 type drought.  Is this going to happen?  He still thinks 2016 is the closest year but.. drought risks are rising.. fwiw.
