If you had a chance to contract yearling heifers going out in late July early Aug at 900@ $2.40. Or steers at $2.51. Would you do it?

I don’t know the answer but 11 cents isn’t a big enough split between steers and heifers.

I have been thinking about what is the best move, plan was to buy cattle, sell as pot loads of yearlings, then buy back more light cattle. No money in the buy back so I’m sitting on the cattle i was planning on moving.
