I would not risk that. I did accidentally boil one years ago. I had a 12 volt battery sitting on a pallet in the steel quonset. I put the charger on it intending to do a slow charge but somehow did not have the setting on slow. It was on boost for at least overnight. When I opened the door in the morning the building reeked of acid. I don't recall how the battery turned out but I'm thinking it was junk after that.
