Central IL | Broad brush is an accurate statement. Yes some handicap parking is abused. Yes some old people should not be on the road but have you been on the end of having to take away someones car? Its not easy with some and it breaks them.
Not all fat people can help it but they should wear something more on their feet than dime store flip flops.
As a veteran I am capable of parking at the back of the lot. Maybe as my knees get worse i will appreciate that special parking more.
It drives me crazy to make more than one lap in the parking lot. I can park at the back of the lot hoof it into the store while I still see the cruisers looking for their perfect spot.
Menards and HD contractor parking is a joke but i suppose they spend a lot more money there than I do.
