Without ethanol corn would be in the twos now.Bins off corn full.Got to go to town.

without ethanol, we'd have more diversified agriculture product portfolio on cornbelt farms, livestock would still be more integrated to some level, forages and small grains would be in rotation, and end users of those products would be more abundant, now we are planting seed technology to combat a lot of the pests that develop from the minimal rotation and using the same herbicides and fungicides to combat problems that aren't as big of an issue in multi crop rotations. But here we are, hostages to a bunch of corporations and living off 20 years of inflated wealth that probably wouldn't have occurred to the magnitude it has without the ethanol boondoggle and all the government money behind it and crop insurance, now corn ethanol doesn't even pass the sustainablility test for SAF so we are going to boat in the more ESG friendly fuel from the other side of the equator. We are a bunch of serfs, and those cash rents for windmills and solar panels will be much more appealing with this big roll back. Almost like there is a deeper plan behind all the static. Distribute the common held wealth to many, then reel it back into the few.
