So data is from Tuesday morning to Tuesday morning and released to the public on Thursday. A first draft is sent out on Monday ( even though it will include data thru Tuesday morning). Local experts make suggestions as to changes needed on Tuesday. Looks like the local experts missed sending in an update on current condition earlier this month then corrected there mistake on the following week. It rained the first weekend in Feb and has not rained since. But the change to the drought monitor took an extra week. Drought map from(1st image) Feb 6 and (2nd image)Feb 13
