I like to buy my bulls from a breeder that is harder on his cows than I am on mine. I quit buying bulls raised on creep feeders and pushed hard till sold years ago. Our University Extension loves fat bulls and even use to tell bull buyers to feed grain to 18 month old bulls after turnout. They also said these young bulls were only capable of breeding 15 head.
