Wisconsin | I agree, if anything, "farm" input inflation has been more than broader inflations and those prices are even lower compared to pre 2020 prices.
Using the dollar index as a measure of inflation is interesting. It's really measuring relative inflation as a portion of currency strength. Except, of course, against the gold backed BRIC's bucks, right*** Most economies worldwide were goosing the money supply pretty much right alongside the US so relative currency inflation doesn't measure total inflation very well in the last few years. | |
