Southwest Michigan
1st thing you will have fungus nats unless you take precautions in the soil. Fungus nats, thrips and several insects begin in the soil hatched from Larva that is laid in the soil. its a circle of life. you need to add predatory Nematodes to your soil. nematodes feed on the larva in the soil and then you stop the cycle. they are very inexpensive and worth every dime you can place them in any soil that stays wet during the season. Google Natures Contro from Phoenix Oregon. They grow and sell most any predatory Insect you would need for a greenhouse. We are growing full season crops in a greenhouse Tomatoes,Cukes. your situation may be different. We will harvest Tomatoes until the first of September usually.
We purchase fertilizer from Masterblend from Morris ILL. We buy it by the pallet I think they also sell small Quantities. Whatever you are doing you need a fertilizer injector upline for injecting a blend from a stock tank and injecting Predatory nematodes Its best to have a soil mix that is not to rich in fertilizer and you can add what you want when you want.
