| Of course. A lot of corn is sitting in bins and it can continue to sit there until September. If nothing improves by then yes it will be dumped to make room for harvest but that implies we have a good crop in 2024 so prices will stay in the dumps until a year from now so would be double screwed either way then. And we will do it all over again, and again, and again until prices improved. Basically 2015-2019 all over again potentially. Until there is a production hiccup or a demand surge. Anything can happen in the market, I saw that meme on Twitter and all it is selling fear for those that like to be afraid for the future... and of course it was a grain merchandiser that posted it. | |
