Subject: Nice take.. Russian Crude oil sanctions starting to bite.

I enjoyed your comments.. 181 vs 177 record.. yup.

A macro trend.. in the “isolate Russia by Sanctions plan” pushed by the Biden administration is showing some evidence.. (or is it just the off-season?) of success.

therefore, Russia is dumping everything.. anything.. it can throw at the markets.. as is Ukraine.. to sustain their war efforts.

Wheat, Corn, fertilizers etc.. refined petroleum products etc.

Wheat has been falling by a dime a day for awhile.  And I believe some of these outside factors are playing a role.

Maybe the USDA needs to consider rolling out a paid set aside.. if we are building grain stocks too much.. or a lot more land needs to be idled in the CRP?

I’m glade I’m participating in the NRCS butterfly habitat.. looks like that’s headed to the CRP next.

Flip side.. if the Middle East conflict boils out of control.. petroleum could get interesting.

It’s the off-season.l demand.. weather.. could be a whole different ballgame here in a few weeks.  (Or not?
