Cherokee iowa | As the cattle market is showing us. Bulls can run from the bander. With taxes coming due in few weeks or so some of the bulls will get banded. Matter of have to sell no more running. The year of the dragon is full kickoff in China. Some bulls that are fat from previous years of greeeeen grass still might have enough energy to make it till next season. The funds “packers”are trying to starve the bulls to give up and be banded for slaughter. Sad reality is I’m one of them bulls. Only 8% sold on 2023 0% sold for 2024. Im waiting for greener pastures otherwise the funds will only get a skinny steer. The more the bulls try to run to the green grass the funds burn chasing us every which way. World says plenty of corn to burn and corner the bulls. I feel more comfortable with product on hand when the world doesn’t care what burns.
