Not sure about the receiver question, I bet you can use one, but you'll be limited by computing power on a display that old as far as other functions you want to do. If steering is all you want, if you can use the 372, stick with it til it dies.

That monitor is known as an FMD (Field Manager Display) the precursor to the FMX(FM-1000).

It's very long in the tooth, the last ones were made around 2009-2010 when the FMX's came out.

If you're able to use a better receiver, you'll be in business.

If it has integrated hydraulic steering, it'll be running a NAV2 most likely, and you have lots of options for newer displays (if you ever want to) that can utilize the 372 IF the FMD can't utilize it.

The 252 IMO is not a great receiver because of so few satellites and I was also told by a dealer once that it is by it's nature picky on signal strength for the satellites it sees.

We had a FMD/252 setup for a year or two and went light years ahead with upgrading to FMX's and AG25's.

Because of poor RTK performance in all fields here, we (once we got FMX's) started with VRS(cellular RTK), then later RTX (Similar accuracy to RTK horizontally "here" without anything other than the little AG25 GPS antenna).

We've been running RTX (CenterPoint Fast) happily for almost a decade now.
