EC SoDak | A drought (moisture and heat) with lower submoisture and happening when the plant is using more daily moisture. Last year the eastern belt was cooler than average for a good chunk and they started getting rain shortly after the plant was starting to use more daily moisture. In that scenario, here at least, you can end up with shorter plants but the ear still has time to develop and fill. | |
