There was a year in the mid ‘60’s 1965 IIRC Fields were plowed in March, And the same fields plowed again in June. Not much to kill weeds with except for the plow. Not much of a crop that year. One grandfather said for years, never plow a field twice in the same year.
In the mid 90 s we had a year like this. Disking weeds an grass. Waist Hgh dwn. Corn got planted that year then turnt wett an didn’t dry out till like June 20 th
