Boone Co. Iowa | This is the July Chicago Wheat contract. I spent the last part of the trading hours today considering buying in at this price....it was spending time below the line, so decided against it. But this is the JULY contract, May is front month, then March, then July. Currently $5.94, $5.93 and 1/2, and $5.94 and 3/4.
Going to have to breakout about the end of February, if not before.
In the March Chicago Wheat, the 5 and 20 day moving averages have been pretty much right together, within a few cents, for the past 15 trading sessions. The March contract looks like it needs to breakout by Friday or Monday. Maybe we get the last half of the month and we get to move the insurances higher (or lower).
