Id be curious as to the feed efficiency of those small cattle vs the bigger ones of today


Beef is a slightly different calculus, but for my money a smaller dairy cow takes less feed to grow to maturity, and less feed for maintenance once she reaches maturity. Until it significantly negatively affects milk production potential, which might start happening about 700 lbs mature weight, smaller is better.
