Tablerock Ranch eastern Wa | April is the big marketing month on this ranch, that + - 30 day stretch is when our cow herds calves get packed, everything else all year are outside cattle. that '1200 of bunk is what decides a lot on this place, missing our strike price in September and following it to perceived imposable lows was a gut punch... but GOD is good and looks out for the simple minded such as myself LOL
Hope to get back into the $190s as we are still open with a meager LRP floor, but I can tell you even what we have ground back to I am very grateful for. My WAG is April 24 back to the mid $190s and April 25 my guess will test mid $215s and trace back, Hope to put an LRP floor if that happens at around $2 for a small premium. I would consider contracting my April cattle if that happens and putting a cheap LRP to hedge off Force majeure threats from our uncertain times. |
