Any idea of tonnage per acre when doing peas/oats as a forage ? I saw a guy no till a bunch into wheat stubble last year, then chop it in October. Seemed to do well. wondering what kind of tonnage is hopeful for it?
I have a neighbor that is running wheat on a 60 acre piece across the street from my farm. He would let me notill peas/oats into the stubble and make baleage off it.
