Texas | I’ve been steadily upgrading my hay equipment when I get opportunities.
I have a NH499 12’ haybine. I run it throwing about a 3 or so foot windrow.
I bought a 12 wheel Ogden rake last fall that needs alot of work. The other day I bought an 8 wheel rake for the wheeels, but it’s in way better shape overall when I brought it home.
Will the 8 wheel pair up good with the 499? Or would I be better off moving the wheels to the 12 wheel and running it? If the 8 works good, the only benefit I can think of the 12 would be that I try and pull 3 windrows together in junk hay or maybe grab 2 windrows of straw behind the combine that’s 18’ head. | |
