Subject: Cracked corn in self feeders

West Central Wisconsin
This 16% feed mix of mine is designed to be limit fed to cattle, mainly holstein heifers on a dairy that are getting a lot of hay. I have a customer wanting to feed it to holstein steers on a self feeder. I price it cheaper than an identical whole corn mix because I use the corn screenings from our calf feed mixes. This is his main reason for wanting to use it. Can this mix be successfully fed in self feeders or is it a disaster waiting to happen?
