Madison Co. Virginia | Are any and all oats suitable for planting now? Or are there varieties that do much better than others for late-winter planting for grazing? Should I even consider buying bin-run oats from someone on Marketplace, or would I be a lot better off buying bagged certified seed?
This would be drilled into existing fescue pastures, most badly overgrazed, and some barely grazed at all this winter.
