Ground rig handles nearly all of it , drone handles what plane used to do and that’s only when have extended wet spell and scout says need to do this field or that field now ,usually can put it off a day or two till rows get dry enough for ground rig ,son is breaking in the new xag pro100 and we’re really really impressed so far with its smoothness and speed, build quality, electrical connections etc are much improved over the t 40 ,he has some videos up on utube and TikTok, he’s under @landandlakeoutdoors on TikTok ,search xag100 on utube ,had been told software was harder to operate on xag and it is by just a bit but is absolutely no issue, field setup is easy as can be on both drones but the xag turns around on ends much smoother and faster ,pumps much improved over the t40, but if it goes as good as the t40 did through the season we’ll be tickled and of course no way to know that yet, company support is great so far , he’s really expecting an increase in acres spraye per hour , he has some exact figures on time to do a 6.6 acre load which is what it does at two gallons per acre

Does he need a pilots license to operate a drone for spraying? I was told this yesterday . Sorry if this was discussed previously
