What’s the most likely cause of the plug? Sand? Straw?

I’ve used an air compressor to unplug a line. I was about 30’ away when it exploded and am lucky to be alive.

Shoving a hose or pipe up itvwith lots of water flowing from the main pit end wound be my suggestion.

We aren't totally sure but we have a hay bale for the dry cows to eat from and they spill some into the alley and the auto scraper pushes it into the reception pit. So hay could be clogging it.

This problem of it only being clogged partially seems it could be a frozen clump of manure that got shoved in by the scraper the other week when it was really cold. As you can see, it is down now. We pumped some manure out of the main pit today so that might help.
