SC ND | Agree with most other posters. Keep adding to it. Dad “trained” me to push it up every time. Lots of wasted time and fuel (and dirt removed). Now, I feel if you don’t push it up, the urine will at least sift through the new straw and get absorbed down below. It did not matter this year if I pushed it up or left it. Two bales of bedding lasted two days either way.
If the bedding is complete slop, I’d probably start fresh. If just damp, I’d blow new stuff on top. | |
