Missouri | If the other end isn't supported, that seems like a lot of weight to be pulling on the bearing as the flighting or wear pad wears down.
It looks like the assembly is all exterior. If that's the case, you could look into finding a carrier that houses a heavier bearing and drilling the carrier mounting holes to mount the new assembly. Do the newer models have an "update" that could be adapted? Might be more effort than it's worth for an every other year repair. |
