Renting lots was the only way my Brothers and I got our start. we started in 2013-14 buying bottle calves and feeding to fat and that was rough start but we were stupid enough to continue. Land is crazy here and almost all farm sites are broke off the acreage. So even now with having a place to feed animals we now get to fight with feedlot/building permits because there is never enough land to go with buildings anymore and they claim too much roof space etc for the amount of land.
Id be jumping at that opportunity if it was within 20 to 30 miles of me. | |
