“These are the times that try men's souls.” | I had a few buckets of the old brass neck tags we gave to other dairymen 30 years ago as he still used them. He went long out of business before we did. I wish we would have kept some of them. I remember selling off a JD 95 prairie combine. We had tag number 30 holding feeder house door shut with it. That's was in 1992'. We need to clean old saddle shop out again and see if by chance still a tag or two hiding in there. I still have one of the neck chains used to help keep gate closed. I'm probably the only one on the ranch that would now know it was a neck chain. |
