| That is correct. The firmware on the ECU is coded for whatever display that's going to be used. So if you have an Ag Leader system, it will have the Ag Leader firmware on the ECU and the same with communicating with a Pro 700. The ECU will have the CNH firmware to allow the 700. The motor and cabling is essentially the same between the 2 so there's no firmware or anything like that to say it has to be an Ag Leader display or whatever system is being used. You can throw Ag Leader branded ECU with CNH branded motor/cabling you currently have and it'll work the same as an Ag Leader branded motor/cabling. | |
