Subject: RE: Posted roads in Illinois

NW Illinois
Henry County, one of the main roads I travel for my ag business is 10 ton state road, minimum 60 days with no permits issued. County usually only posts roads as the need for as long as they need, they generally don’t permit because they only post for when needed. Most all townships here are 10 ton for 90 days. They will give permissions if roads are fit. I know or have known many township commissioners. I feel bad for them, they spend half the summer fixing road damage because they are not allowed to stop “Essential services “. So like in front of my house, all spring, school buses travel 5 days a week, there are 2 different garbage pickup truck running different routes on different days, and LP tandem delivery trucks running at will, as people call in.
