Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I have no experience with "L". I have used Terra Star "C" with an Ag Leader 6500 for two years and was happy. Last year I traded one of my 6500s toward an unlocked GPS 7500 with Terra Star "Pro C". I pay the yearly subscription. I am very happy with it except for the subscription fee.
I have that GPS 7500 unlocked for Terra Star Pro C and two other 6500's not unlocked. The 6500's use WAAS only. I move the GPS 7500 from the planting tractor to the sprayer to the combine as the seasons don't overlap. I can move the 6500's around if needed although they wouldn't have the accuracy on WAAS, they are good enough for many tasks such as steering for tillage etc.
I have considered going the RTK route with a Minnesota CORS setup. I'm a bit gun shy about going that route since the Terra Star Pro C has worked so well for me. I do want something that I can count on especially during planting.
