You can be pretty sure that any soybean variety developed in the past 20 years that you are able to get your hands on will have some kind restrictions on saving/selling seed. Your best bet is to reach out to SoyCanada or AAFC directly; Sevita International may also be able to help if you don't like any of the public food-grade varieties AAFC has. Bear in mind variety selection is going to be your biggest challenge- $17*50 is still less than $12*75...

Have looked enough seed labels to know that you are wrong.
