If you have access to alfalfa hay, hogs really like it, and it makes the meat tender.
Don't force feed it, and don't overdo it. Just have them on full feed corn & meal, and toss a couple pitchforks of it to them every day or two.
When I did that, I had guys willing to pay 1/3 more for the ones I did that to, they liked them so much. Only needs to be the last 2-3 weeks or so.
Oats is good feed, can replace about 1/3 of the corn in ration with oats. Younger pigs especially did well on oats.
