Schuler 6520 here, so same mixer basically as the Vermeer. Can make lots of good cow feed out of rye or oat wet bales, or below average dry hay, mixed with any kind of wet by-product. Silage is a bonus if you have it. Best part is calves learn to eat out of the bunks and wean easy. The minimalist crowd on here will say it's too much equipment, but the options are endless to use cheap feed.. A lot of otherwise wasted hay or course baleage will have every fiber cleaned up
