A couple questions.

We try to spray our drainage ditch banks while crops are growing, if we can get to them. Normally we use a Gator with a sprayer, or a converted JD6000 hi-boy that no longer has booms....just a full span walking platform for someone to operate a hand boom from. We most often use either 2,4-d or some brush killer (which are usually 2,4-d based products).

First, does anyone know if there area aerial labels for 2-4,d or brush killer. This would be in the St of IL which may be different.

Second, have any of  you drone sprayers done this type of work yet? If so, do you hand-fly the drone or how do you pre-program it to follow a ditch that does a lot of winding around?

Would a drone sprayer be practical for this type of work? How would they charge for the work? By the hour?

People have been using helicopters in ILL to spray drainage ditches. 24D and Trichlopyr are labeled for air application.

Haven't sprayed any drainage districts with a drone, but he did spray 43 acres of timber for Honeysuckle with a drone, charged $15 acre.

Spot sprayed 27 acres Johnsongrass in beans with drone, charged 40 acre minimum x $11 = $440. Was 50 mile round trip and the time involved to spray it probably should have been $1000 + . Those odd jobs are hard to know how to charge,

Don’t mean to hijack the thread but …
Coup you mentioned a while back you’d have a new tender trailer built by January. We’d like to come see it but I don’t know how to get in touch with you.
