Eastern Ontario, Canada | we have a 1st calver milking now and we had to take her eye out about a month old, she wasn't registered yet and we use the first letter of the dam when we name them, so it was a "G". her name is now Gouge. lol . she gets along just fine. but its funny if you put your hand up a foot from her sewed shut eye, she moves away from it. not sure if its the eyelashes still feeling the slightest air from the hand or what but it is pretty neat that she can sense something there. | |
