South Central MN | I have an overhead door on my hog barn load out chute. It was a mistake. It doesn't seal well, the galvanized hardware is rusting severely, and I fight ice buildup every year due to the leaks.
Perhaps a chicken barn isn't as humid or caustic as a hog barn, but I really struggle with mine.
Reading your post again perhaps your idea of a roll up door is different than mine.
