| Elevate modems are very reliable. I use it with John Deere receivers, but it almost never drops. I do have one field that's a problem, but the RTK-X fallback covers me there. My experience with Trimble, however wasn't bullet proof.
As stated, picking the right carrier is very important for good coverage. For instance, US Cellular is about the only carrier around here that's worth anything. Verizon and AT&T coverage can get spotty, T-Mobile is non-existent. | |
