Subject: Switch to John Deere

Gibson City, IL
We run several AgLeader RTK systems, all using DigiFarm correction. Most are Z2 one original. We run all JD equipment, thinking about switching to John Deere guidance. Nothing wrong with our AgLeader systems, they work great, just that some of the JD equipemt would work better with JD guidance. Mostly on the combine with Row Sense and Machine Sync. But also brings the implement steering benefit for striptill and planting. The new 7000 globes have this new satelite RTK correction which they are claiming does really good. Whether we stay AL or switch to JD they will only be doing guidance, no liquid or dry application control. We have guidance lines saved for all sides of every field now, just a pull in and go, no line centering. Any of you done this switch, are you happy with the results?
