NENE | If you are assigned a frequency for your location could you take the base to another farm 20 miles away on a tripod like a 900? Seems like that would nullify the point of assigning frequencies to avoid interference. I am spread out 20 miles each way from my base with some pretty good hills in between. The 900 radios work ok because I can either take the base along or use the 14 day fallback mode or SF1. I know 450 radios would still not reach the fringes but thought they might improve reliability on the in between land and allow other machines to use the signal at home if I didn't have to move it as much. | |
