My phone rang at 730 this morning. Neighbor has half a dozen cows and 1 decided to calve this morning. Asking if I can spare a bale of hay and a couple bales of straw. Ggrrrrr. Way to plan ahead. Of course I made the trek to the farm and loaded him up. We just cleaned lots and barns Thursday and and filled feeders so we didn't have to get anything out today.
