Excellence Riviera Cancun is the best all-inclusive place I've ever stayed. I'm sure the cheaper rooms are booked by now, though, so you would probably have to take a fancier and more expensive suite.

We have also enjoyed some of the Riu resorts in the Cancun area. They are very nice, just not quite as high quality food and beverages as Excellence - but still very good. They are a really good bang for your buck. Under $3000 for a week, including flights.

I prefer Mexico over Jamaica, as I've always felt the customer service was better there. Jamaicans are on "island time" and move slow. Since I only get to be on island time for a few days, I prefer not to wait a half hour for a beer.
