I assume you are running a microhard 900mhz radio with the outback a321? You can buy an external microhard radios (from hemisphere) and connect the radio to a 3rd party rover such as Trimble 372 RTK, Ag Leader 6500/7500.

I personally have never done this, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. You would need to set up the rover to accept the radio (baud rate; RTCM3; Hz, etc) but I think it is technically possible.

You could then use your outback base with a 3rd party rover.

The radios that I’m thinking about look like the attached pictures
