northeast ohio | Used 75742 cables to convert an EZSteer from a EZGuide 500 to newer FMX or TMX display are hard to find at a reasonable price. A few years ago, I came across an alternative cabling diagram for CFX displays that used the two CAN wires on the 77282 power supply for the CFX and EZSteer Combo. See below. Thinking of using 75704 cable on a FMX or TMX, pulling the two power wires from the display side DTM12 pin and adding a DTM 2 pin to them. Then use a 67095 fused power to connect between a 67259 (FMX) or 92676 (TMX) power bus and the modified 75407. The 75407’s 4 pin CAN/Power would plug directly into the original 62974 Cable to the EZSeer. Is there a reason we can’t or shouldn’t do this?
