Lone Wolf Ok | 1 im eastern Oklahoma, semi vs bus
1 outside of grandfield Oklahoma, head on pickup vs 1 ton bus. Pickup driver deceased, driver of bus airlifted, several students (8-9 in bus) hurting taken by ambulance.
Prayers appreciated

Most kids are ok. None needed surgery. Sis in law's niece had concussion and black eye. I'm sure cuts and bruises. Driver took it the worst. Big guy in little bus. Like 6'5". Heard femur broke and sticking out of leg. Flew him to ft worth.

"We had Farmer Heroes this morning at the bus accident !
MEDAL OF HONOR FLAT OUT HEROES !
Two farmers going home from morning coffee, happened onto the scene, almost as it happened. Witnessing the fire in the pickup involved and a big fuel tank beside it, they saw the 2 vehicles were virtually enmeshed with the bus chassis UNDER the burning pickup and the upper people carrier up on top of the pickup, turned around and hooked heavy chains to their rear bumpers, and kept jerking and pulling until they yanked the bus upper compartment free and dragged it about 200 yards down the ditch away from the fire just before the gas tank that flipped out of the pickup, exploded!

The OHP credited the 2 men with saving many lives (all the kids who were headed to Vo-Tech for classes, and possibly even the bus driver if he lives. Airbag absorbed some of the impact for him.
Thank God for these fast thinking men !
