Iowa | I do the farm accounting and accounting for a few other things on excel. I'll attach a simple one that is done in mostly table format (for easy expansion and sorting). It's not what I use for the farm, but has components of things I use elsewhere. It's somewhat of a skeleton of what I was thinking of using for a nonprofit. I threw in a few farm accounts and transactions for demo purposes. It has not actually been used as it sits, so you should make sure it is working correctly if you try to use it. None of the formulas are locked, so they can easily be overwritten by accident. I just added a spellnumber macro to enable it to print checks. You can look it over, but you would be using it at your own risk as it sits now.
