June is always dry. So instead of 0.5” they get 0.1”. It’s tropical based climate with wet and dry seasons. They don’t bank on rainfall in June to carry them though. One can’t make a comparison at all to SD needs. Rainfall prior to Sept 15 is not all pertinent to their grain production.
